Physical, physiological, and sanitary quality of Myrocarpus frondosus Allemão diaspores stored in different environments

Cabreúva (Myrocarpus frondosus Allemão) is a native species with ecological, ornamental, medicinal, and timber potential. This study aimed to evaluate the physical, physiological, sanitary quality of Myrocarpus diaspores over 360 days in different storage environments. The initial characterization batch included weight 1,000 seeds, moisture content, electrical conductivity, germination potential (with substrates being between on sand or vermiculite, paper roll) (blotter test). were stored room ambient conditions, dry cold room, wet chamber, refrigerator. Evaluations performed at 0, 90, 180, 270, days. vermiculite are recommended for diaspores. Diaspores showed no recalcitrant behavior relation can be (18 °C 49% RH) days, 57% germination.
